Nothing short of amazing!! After relying entirely on internet reviews I contacted Hector to DJ our wedding and met with him during one of our very short trips to California. Having to plan a wedding from out of the state is difficult and Hector was completely understanding and flexible with his schedule. He worked around our availability to meet during a one of very brief visits to California before the wedding. Hector is very detail oriented and responds to any concern or question in a promptly manner.
We did not have a wedding planner the day of the wedding (which I would not recommend doing looking back) and our venue (to our surprise) only allowed Hector an extremely slim window to set-up. Nonetheless, Hector managed to not only set-up, but he kept us calm the entire time and quickly took on the a a few wedding planner responsibilities without hesitation.
We can not say enough positive things about Hector and his professionalism along with his fabulous DJ skills that were highly complemented the day of and after the wedding. Our attendees definitely had a huge variety of taste in music and no one left disappointed. Thanks, again!!

Hector is absolutely great to work with - he's very friendly and accommodating. He always got back to us right away, and we even met twice before the wedding. He went over details with us we hadn't even thought of! He helped us plan the perfect ceremony and reception with an amazing mix of music that gave our special day exactly the energy and vibe we wanted.
Thanks to Hector, we truly got to enjoy our celebration because we never had to worry about the party getting dull... he kept things going from the moment the first guests arrived until the very last dance! He even did damage control by keeping all our guests on the dance floor to avoid a party foul inside. Our guests raved about how much fun they had on the dance floor and what a great DJ we had. I couldn't agree more!

Best Dj out there. Hector did our wedding in August. he did a tremendous job. everyone remarked on how well he did his job. He is a great MC..I cannot stress this enough, he ran the wedding perfectly and according to our wishes. He gave us great ideas for the wedding, the dances and helped us to choose our music. Many of our guests took his card as they wanted to hire him for future parties. He was good enough to keep the band off the floor for an extended period of time due to his ability to keep the people partying. He gave us a copy of the songs we selectged for te important dances and even sent us his personal photos that he took during the wedding.All in all a great choice for a DJ/MC.. he is also very friendly and personable as well...

DJ Hector is the way to go if you want a custom party experience. He knows his music, and how to read a crowd and accommodate their taste. From the start, DJ Hector was professional and diligent in working with us to plan the perfect graduation party. We had a chance to meet before the party to go over specifics, and he was very calculated in preparing for the event. At the event, he played exactly what we wanted, didn't play what we didn't want, and seamlessly took the party from music genre to music genre despite a very mixed crowd. Additionally, he brought a couple assistants with him who were professional, in uniform, and even helped with other tasks when they found themselves available to do so. What a pleasant surprise! I already have made plans to include HD Entertainment in my next big party!

DJ Hector is as good as it gets. I don't even remember how we hooked up with him but meeting him was the best thing that ever happened for our event. He is not only a fabulous listener, reader of the audience, and understanding professional -- he knows how to put you at ease for your most treasured day, whatever that might be. Hector is AWESOME! My husband and I are not 'cheesy' dj kind of people and we instantly noticed how great Hector was at our friends Garett and Jenny Keneko's wedding. Hector is the best DJ I have ever worked with! He is friendly, professional, and a really nice man to have at an event. Most DJ's have a tendency to make their presence at your event over the top. Hector is exactly what you want from a DJ. We first saw Hector working a wedding in July 08 and immediately knew we wanted him to DJ our daughters' Quinceanera. At our first meeting we were so impressed that we hired him on the spot. He was extremely professional, detail-oriented, organized and offered great advice. He made us feel like our event was the most important event of the year and was always available to discuss any questions or concerns. At the party, Hector was AWESOME! He was very accommodating and literally came to the rescue each time we encountered a problem. Hector treated us like royalty and for all his help and kindness I will be forever grateful. We were lucky enough to have Hector DJ our wedding and then we hired him again for a birthday party. He was very detail-oriented, organized, very professional, well-prepared and most important on time! He kept the crowd dancing the entire night, which was no easy task considering the diversity of the crowd and the wide range of ages represented. I never once had to mention a song to play because he was already playing it. To anyone planning a Wedding, Corporate Gig or Holiday Event to a simple Birthday Party or Plain old House Party use Hector @ HD Entertainment. Not only will you not be disappointed you will use them over and over and send all your friends their way too.
I've been to at least 30 weddings and Hector by far outplayed any other DJ! 10 out of 10 stars

We had seen DJ Hector working another event and we thought he did such a good job we asked him to DJ at our wedding. He was very professional and did a perfect job as an MC for the entire reception. We gave him some songs that we wanted to hear and songs that we definitely did not want to hear and he put together a great playlist that had everyone dancing all night. He coordinated the caterer, the band, the waiters and most importantly us. We were running a little behind schedule after the ceremony and he got us back on time for the speeches, first dance, cake cutting, ect... which was a huge task since we had 235 people at our wedding. Hector did an outstanding job. His ability to read the crowd and play the music they want to hear and dance to is great. We worked my sons wedding last year and everyone thought he did a great job. I just had him play at the holiday party for the company I work for and once again everyone was happy with the job he did and want him back next year.

Hector was wonderful! It's hard to please a crowd of all ages, especially when celebrating a 60th birthday party. But, Hector pulled it off! I have never received so many compliments on the music played during dinner, and then while people were on the dance floor. Hector took all request, and the calls came in literally for 2 days after the party thanking us for a great time and raving about the "DJ and his music". I am writing this letter to inform you of the exceptional job that Hector Duron did at our Quinceanera event on Jan 5, 2008. Hector’s contribution really added to the success of my daughter’s Quinceanera celebration. As you know, we franticly inquired about a DJ two weeks prior to our event. Hector promptly returned our phone call. Although he had an extremely busy schedule, he sensed our urgency and accommodated our schedule by meeting with us that same night. He was outstanding both during our initial meeting and at the reception celebration.
During our initial meeting with Hector, my husband and I were impressed by his professionalism and patience. That same night, he spent approximately 3 hours outlining the entire agenda and timeline for our event. We never felt rushed even though Hector had additional late night work and an early flight the next morning. Furthermore, Hector impressed my 15 year old daughter (anyone who has a teenager knows how difficult this is to accomplish) by allowing her to give input and gaining her perspective of what music she liked and how she visualized her event. She was so thrilled to be included in the decision making process. Unbeknownst to Hector, my daughter would be the one who would make the final decision to hire him. Needless to say, she asked us to hire him on the spot. After having interviewed several DJs and leaving our meeting with Hector, we felt confident that he was the best person for the job.
During the reception more of Hector’s abilities were revealed. I put together a photo montage, but was unable to complete the audio component of the presentation. Hector came to the rescue, he asked for what songs I had in mind, added a few of his own, and he blended the perfect combinations of songs to accompany my presentation. Everything he selected was perfect! Additionally, Hector blended and faded the music for the “Surprise dance” routine that the Quinceanera Court of Honor was to perform to. Hector was very proactive and took just enough charge without being overbearing or intrusive. Compared to previous DJ’s we have hired, Hector has been by far the best. We also received numerous complements from our guest about him. Our guest noticed, as we did, that Hector was more than a DJ; he was our MC, event coordinator, and kept everything on track while being flexible to our last minute changes. Without his experience and proactive approach I am certain that our function would not have run as smooth as it did. I felt relaxed because I knew that Hector would take care of it. He kept us on track with our timeline, he was friendly towards us and our guests, and he was articulate and professional during announcements. He kept the dance floor packed, so much in fact, that we had to extend his time because everyone wanted to continue dancing.
I could not have asked for a better DJ or a more positive experience. Hector is an outstanding DJ and individual. Thank you so much for recommending him to us. We will definitely solicit his services again and recommend him to others. He was the best investment we made.
p.s. for customers who choose a DJ based on photo appearance – his website photo does not do him justice. He is much thinner, more handsome, and friendlier in person.
